This CAN interface needs to be "hard wired" to the vehicle. The following outputs are provided (subject to vehicle application)

Ignition
Illumination
Brake
Reverse
RPM

This interface is based on digital technology

For BMW vehicles with Ed system (Efficient dynamics) the CAN interface will not power down when the vehicle switches off when stationary. The CAN interface has a "key in" feature which will keep active for 30 mins so long as the key is not removed from the vehicle.
